This book is just fun. Full of all sorts or unexpected twists and turns.
Elizabeth’s after-school job leads to a world of excitement, romance, and magical intrigue.
She works at library that lends objects, not books, and includes a secret room called the Grimm Collection. You do not want to go there, if you know what’s good for you.
Of course Elizabeth’s curiosity gets the better of her. Inside the Grimm Collection, she finds powerful items from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales: seven-league boots, a table that produces a feast at the blink of an eye, Snow White’s stepmother’s mirror. You know. The usual fairy tale stuff that’s better left alone.
When these objects start to disappear, Elizabeth has to catch the thief before she can be accused of the crime or get caught by the thief herself. But can the other library pages be trusted? There’s Anjali, who’s beautiful and nice. Marc, a handsome star athlete. Andrew, who’s serious and caring.
Elizabeth soon learns that to find lost magic, she must use magic. And that can be dangerous.
